Buy this one. The NM is the Mexico 66 made in Japan. The standard Mexico 66 and the SD are made cheaply in South East Asia, mostly Indonesia and Vietnam.

- Upper: 100% goat leather, washed for a soft, worn-in look, instead of the cow and synthetic leather of the standard model.
- Hand-dyed: craftspeople in Japan dye each pair by hand. The dye shrinks and wrinkles the leather slightly, so no 2 pairs look the same.
- Sole: Onitsuka's own thin sole with good cushioning, and an elastic insole.
- Made in Japan: the insole carries 日本製, "made in Japan".
- Sizing: Onitsuka recommends 1 size up.
- Price: €340, more than twice the €160 of the standard Mexico 66.
NIPPON MADE is Onitsuka Tiger's line of shoes made in Japan, to "convey the quality of Japanese craftsmanship". It also includes the Mexico 66 Deluxe, the Colesne NM, the Fabre NM and the Moal 77 NM.
