Background
The SRPG27 belongs to the Seiko 5 Sports "Field" subset, revived in 2019 when Seiko relaunched the entire 5 Sports collection. The green "khaki" dial and Arabic numerals place it squarely in the military field watch tradition. The 4R36 movement — Seiko's workhorse automatic with hacking and hand-winding — sits at the core of the 5 Sports range.
