Caliber 1315
In-house automatic movement with silicon balance spring. The 5-day power reserve is a standout - you can leave it off for a work week and it'll still be running Monday. Secured movement prevents damage during setting.
The Bathyscaphe in context
The Bathyscaphe is the sportier, more modern sibling of the original Fifty Fathoms. Slimmer bezel, contemporary dial finishes, more daily-wearable proportions. The meteor grey sunburst dial with matching grey ceramic bezel gives it a cohesive, understated look compared to the classic black FF.
Strap options
Available on sail-canvas (this ref), NATO, or steel bracelet. The sail-canvas is rubber-lined for water resistance while looking casual.
Notes
At 43mm and 13.45mm thick, it wears like a proper dive watch but doesn't overwhelm. The grey-on-grey colorway is more versatile than the black dial versions. $13,700 puts it in Rolex Submariner territory but with a significantly more sophisticated movement (120h PR vs 70h, silicon hairspring, in-house).
