1. High level of empathy
Many autistic people have incredibly high levels of empathy, especially for other marginalised people and those who are vulnerable. Sometimes it just looks different to NT empathy and is therefore not recognised.

The autistic/ADHD desperation to hold a thought until you can action it or write it down, because if you stop thinking about it for even a *second*, it may vanish, never to return.

Autistic people often have higher, lower or inconsistent levels of interoceptive awareness (IA). IA enables you to recognise and respond to what’s going on inside your body, including: what it needs (food, drink, the restroom); its health (mental, emotional, physical); and more.
