As a Frenchman in B2B Sales, selling into other countries for 20+ years, I have used a small particularity to stand out with some of my email salutations & closings.
I either use French (when the recipient is not):
Bonjour
to start.
Cordialement
to close.
This give a different flair & feel to the email, and helps me stand out. Though it can backfire depending on the email content and the recipient's perception of the French 😁
My other approach is to use the local language.
