After 5+ years using Pathfinder (!apps/pathfinder) I'm curious to see if a better alternative exist.

Mainly to remedy the negatives of it (eg columns not size-adjusted dynamically).

Forklift 3 seems to be the main contender.

I had tried it at version 1 and liked its management of remote servers - be it a local NAS, an AWS S3 bucket, FTP server, etc...

When I came across Patfinder, I found it more powerful and switched.

Let's see if things have changed after all these years.
