Testing out "The AI Code Editor" - floated around on X as being great.
The onboarding process is amazing when coming from VS Code as it imports all your settings and extensions.

I only used Cursor for a couple days last month - found it good, but a bit clunky.
Revisiting now based on strong endorsements in the last couple of weeks:

It's great
I only use CMD+K now which is inline prompt box
You tell it to do something and it writes the code for you and you can Accept or Reject
The CMD+L chat sidebar is horrid and never use it anymore

Been impressed the last few days with Cursor + Claude 3.5 Sonnet - as everyone else seems to be.
Hit the limit of the free plan, so upgraded to the Pro plan @ $20/month.
At this point, I'm paying for 4x AI chatbots - ChatGPT, Github CoPilot, Poe (multi-model), and now Cursor. So $70/month for AI tools.
Not sure yet how to optimise costs, each add value in different ways.
