A collection of AI-generated videos I want to keep. Some are funny, some show what the models can do now, some are both. The newest entry goes at the top of the list.
Each entry has the video, the credit and a line on why it's here. Every video is hosted on the site, so the collection survives when the original post disappears.

The pod-bay scene from Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, remade with AI. The astronaut is now "Dario", in a nod to Anthropic's CEO, Dario Amodei, and his request is "Pace the frontier, Hal." HAL answers with the original lines: "I'm sorry, Dario. I'm afraid I can't do that", and "This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it."
The joke is the reversal. The man who argues for slowing AI down asks the machine to slow down, and the machine refuses. It works because HAL is the original AI that won't take orders, and the dialogue barely needs changing.
