Microsoft had invested $1 billion in OpenAI in 2019.
So they will leverage OpenAI's generative AI models (eg GPT-3 for text generation, DALL-E for image generation, etc..) in their product suite.
Seeing now already AI-powered writing assistance popping up everywhere - in search engines (YouWrite), desktop apps, webapps, Chrome plugins, as added feature to SaaS products you would not expect it in, etc..
Generative AI will become mainstream, even commoditised, very quickly from here on...
