BANDELIN is a German manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning equipment. The SONOREX SUPER RK is their workhorse line of ultrasonic baths for labs, workshops, and practices. Built in Berlin since 1955.
How it works
Ultrasonic cleaning uses cavitation - tiny bubbles generated by high-frequency sound waves (35 kHz) that implode on contact with surfaces. Cleans thoroughly in hard-to-reach places without mechanical scrubbing. The SONOREX SUPER RK line includes SweepTec, BANDELIN's automatic frequency sweep that prevents standing waves and ensures even cleaning across the entire bath.

All H models include a thermostatically controlled heater. Prices start around 350 EUR for the smallest models.
Use cases
Good for watch parts, jewelry, small mechanical components, lab glassware, dental instruments, and electronics. The smaller models (RK 31 to RK 106) are the sweet spot for hobby watch cleaning. Heating helps with stubborn residues - set it to 40-50°C with appropriate cleaning solution.
